Did you know?

1.Pigeons are very intelligent. They are able to recognize people and even remember human’s faces.

2.Pigeons have been used for message delivery as they were able to fly one hundred and fifty miles without stopping. It is also estimated that they can fly just about forty-five miles per hour!

3.Pigeons are very clean animals and will always make sure to clean themselves by grooming themselves with a part of their tongue called a “brush tongue.”

4.Pigeons can orient themselves according to Earth’s magnetic field and keep a flight path over long distances.  How they do that is a still a mystery.
